Nobody has to act for it to go

47 CFR 1.955 terminates an authorization on its expiration date without Commission action, and § 1.949(h) returns a denied licence automatically to the Commission for reassignment.

02Human review

Enforcement, and its absence

No forfeiture for failure to construct was found in 2024–2026. On 19 December 2025 the Bureau wrote to 3.45 GHz licensees about their 2026 milestones, and no follow-on order was found.
